Strengthening The National and Political Unity (Kesbangpol) functions in addressing problems posed by NGOs in Indonesia

Abstract

Indonesia guarantees the right of citizens to organize and issued an opinion, that is part of the human rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic. So there is no reason to prohibit the existence of NGO. But nowadays, some organizations (it means that NGOs) is not behaving as expected, made unlawful acts those are disturbing the society and has created a new problem then we should find a solution about it. In response to this problem, described alternative solution models, those are: pre-emptive action: the member and chairman of organizations invited to sit together to discuss the problem, preventive: surveillance for action anarchism that does not happen and keep the action posed no widespread, then repressive is make explanation , compiled files, and to transfer the case to High Court, that there is a deterrent effect for collision-related criminal organizations or actions anarchism does. Coaching is done and returned to the vision of  organizations such as the established order not to widespread, so that doesn’t happen again friction between organizations or anarchism. In addition to the government's action in this case, also made coaching to leaders of organizations that are expected to be partly responsible for evaluating, investigating the culprit. The need for strengthening the role of government in this case is concerned to National and Political  Unity (Kesbangpol) that serves to legitimize and limitize organizations are reviewing the vision and mission, the source of funds received and tested the ability of these organizations are able to contribute to society or not and also in this paper will explain kesbangpol as a mediator for handling those problems.
